Hosted Waitlist Landing Page
Every LaunchList waitlist comes with a free hosted landing page — a complete, standalone page your audience can visit directly. No website, no designer, no additional tools required.
Your hosted page URL:
https://getlaunchlist.com/pages/your-waitlist-slug
You can find and copy your exact URL from Dashboard → Hosted Page.
What the hosted page includes
- A headline and subtitle you write
- Your waitlist signup form (with referral tracking built in)
- Optional: live signup count ("Join 1,243 others on the waitlist")
- Optional: top-5 referral leaderboard to drive social sharing
- Optional: your logo and social follow links
- Your brand colors applied to the background and button
- Full SEO control — title, description, and indexing toggle
Setting up your hosted page
Go to your waitlist dashboard and click Hosted Page in the left sidebar. You'll see a live preview of the page alongside the settings panel.
General
Headline The main title shown at the top of your page. Keep it benefit-focused.
Example: "Join the future of AI writing"
Subtitle A short supporting line below the headline.
Example: "Be the first to know when we launch. Early access members get 30% off."
If you leave these blank, the page falls back to your waitlist name.
Display settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show signup count | Shows "Join X others on the waitlist" below the form. Adds social proof once you have signups. |
| Show leaderboard | Displays the top 5 referrers on the page — drives competitive sharing. |
| Show logo | Shows your waitlist logo in the hero section. Upload a logo in Settings → Branding. |
| Show social links | Adds social follow buttons in the footer. Configure links in Settings → Social Links. |
Referral URL destination
Controls where referral links (shared by your signups) point to:
- Your website — sends referred visitors to your main site URL
- Hosted page — sends referred visitors back to this hosted page
If you don't have a website yet, set this to Hosted page so the referral loop stays self-contained.
Styling
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Background Color | Sets the page background. Defaults to light gray (#f9fafb). |
| Button Color | Color of the "Join Waitlist" submit button. Defaults to indigo. |
| Button Text Color | Text color inside the submit button. |
Changes apply instantly — use the live preview on the right to see them before saving.
SEO settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Allow search engine indexing | When off (default), Google sees noindex — useful while you're still building. Turn on when you're ready for the page to appear in search results. |
| SEO Title | The <title> tag shown in browser tabs and Google results. Falls back to your headline or waitlist name. |
| SEO Description | The meta description shown in Google snippets. Aim for 150–160 characters. |
Tip: If you're running paid ads to this page, keep indexing off — you don't need Google traffic and noindex keeps the page out of Google's quality signals.
Enable / disable the page
The Enable hosted page toggle controls whether the URL is live:
- On (default) — the page is publicly accessible at your URL
- Off — the page returns a 404; useful if your launch window has ended
Sharing your hosted page
Once your page is live, copy the URL from the top of the Hosted Page tab and share it:
- In your email signature
- In your social bio
- On Product Hunt, Reddit, Indie Hackers
- In ads and paid campaigns
Every visitor who signs up gets their own referral link pointing back to this page (or your site, depending on your referral URL setting). That referral link drives the viral loop.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid plan to use the hosted page? No. The hosted page is available on the free plan (up to 100 submissions). Paid plans extend the submission limit and unlock branding removal.
Can I use a custom domain?
Custom domain support for the hosted page is not available yet. Your page lives at getlaunchlist.com/pages/your-slug. For a custom domain experience, embed the LaunchList widget into your own Webflow, Framer, Carrd, or Squarespace site instead.
Can I remove the LaunchList branding from the page? Yes — upgrade to a paid plan and enable Hide powered by logo in Settings → Customize thank-you page.
Will the page show up on Google? Only if you turn on Allow search engine indexing in the SEO settings. By default it is off. When you turn it on, submit your URL to Google Search Console for faster indexing.
What happens to referral links if I disable the page? Referral links stop working when the page is disabled (404). If you need to close signups without breaking referral links, use the Disable submissions setting in Waitlist Settings instead — that keeps the page live but stops new signups.
